
Holly Trochet joined the OMICS group as a postdoctoral researcher in January 2018. She worked on understanding the links between cardiovascular disease and reproductive factors using genomic and phenotype data from biobanks. Her broader research interests are in pleiotropy and genetic interactions.
Holly did her Ph.D. at the University of Oxford, studying methods to detect cross-trait associations from genome-wide association summary statistics. Previously, she received a masters in Quantitative Genetics and Genome Analysis from the University of Edinburgh. Her undergraduate masters from the University of St Andrews was in pure mathematics.
She now works as a biostatiscian in industry
