Dominique joined the group in May 2019 as an undergraduate summer intern. She was awarded IVADO and PRemier scholarships to work on the Platypus project with a focus on sexual chromosomes.

She is now a Master’s student in bioinformatics at Université de Montréal and has received a Bio-Talent scholarship for her work on genomic simulations and mathematical modeling of SARS-CoV-2.

She has previously obtained a B.A. in Linguistics with minors in Psychology and Education from McGillUniversity.
