Douae Maatougui has joined the lab as an intern for the summer 2022. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Université catholic de Louvain (UCLouvain) in Belgium and she is currently completing a master’s degree in biomedical sciences at UCLouvain. During her internship, Douae has been awarded the Mitacs Globalink and Erasmus+ scholarship to study the metabolomic signature of patients affected by heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
