Sara Gair is an undergraduate student in bioinformatics with multi-disciplinary interests in statistical machine learning-based analysis for precision medicine and human genomics. She is a past intern supervised by Alexis Nolin-Lapalme, an MD-PhD candidate, and Dr. Julie Hussin. She worked on analyzing the populational structure of hundreds of genetic loci contributing to the etiology of cardiovascular traits identified in a large-scale genome-wide association study.
